Removing Alu Oxidation

Does anyone have a good trick for removing oxidation on Alu? I have a couple of older parts that are in good shape but slightly discolored. I know I can use oven cleaner to remove the anodize and then polish but I'm sure there is a better way.

Thoughts?

I've used Maguires All Metal Polysh. Automotive cleaners works wonders.

You can pick it up at Kragens.
