What's up with the Search Function

I can only obtain search information from 11/27/07 forward. Is it me, did I set it up wrong? As a test, I tried searching "Schwinn" on C&V. I should receive a deluge of responses, right? I got a page and a half. My parameters are "At least 0 replies" and "Any date and newer". I'm searching entire posts.
