Got this one finally built, bought it to do a drop bar conversion but it was too small plus I decided I had more than enough drop bar bikes. It's on my local CL as of last night. Wish it was my size, it turned out really sweet.

From my recent camping trip to Colorado, I picked up eight bikes and or framesets.
Just finished the 1975 Sekai Professional. First rule: I have to use what I have in the bins. No buying stuff to build a bike when I am full up on parts.
So this one ended up a frankenbike: Campy wheels, Cyclone derailleurs, Dura Ace brakes, Nitto bars, Sugino Maxy crankset and Belt saddle.

Bought this off the local Craigslist for $75:
This is the photo from the ad.
I changed out everything that comprises the cockpit: saddle, stem, handlebar/grips, and pedals. First rides revealed something wrong with the rear derailleur. The PO had swapped out the stock Suntour AR-GT for a Shimano STX 8-speed unit, but it was still running a 6-speed freewheel. My first shift into first gear sucked the chain into the spokes and I had to do an emergency stop-and-fettle at the side of the road.
Not an auspicious start. The only thing I had lying around that might work was an extended "Megarange" 7-speed freewheel and a Shimano 7-speed Alivio MTB derailleur. I installed those and it functions perfectly. The only disappointment is the hideous plastic carbuncle of a shifter I have to use for now. A Deore indexed thumb-lever is on the way...
Since I was changing things, I also mounted a pair of 700c CR18 wheels I had in the shop, and ordered a pair of 700cx35mm Panaracer Paselas for that nice, cushy ride. The stock brakes didn't quite reach in the front, so on went a pair of Tektro 559 Long Reach calipers. These are at the top of their range, which means this bike will eventually get 650b wheels and fenders. But that's not in the budget this year. I'm seriously considering building my own wheels this time, but I haven't finished Gerd Schraner's (The Art of Wheelbuilding) book yet. That is sitting on the workbench next to my comfy chair.
A dedicated touring bike must have racks and bags, of course. So I pulled the ones off my old gaspipe Gitane "Gypsy Bleu" and installed them on the Wyoming. Gypsy Bleu weighed 41 lbs loaded for the road. The Wyoming clocks-in at a respectable 34.4 lbs. That's with spare tube, tools, lock, and a sip or two of water in the bottle.
Yesterday I took it out for a sunrise photo shoot down by the Mississippi River in front of downtown Saint Paul. Here are some shots from that:
I really like the way it looks and rides so far. Gonna put on a lot more miles today and tomorrow so she is ready for the commute Monday morning.

Another official entry into the Cinderella (not to be confused with Rindercella...) Club here is my surprise came-across-it 1985 Schwinn Paramount frameset. Poor thing had sat, as pictured, for at least a year and a half.
Take me, add a plan, wait time, money, a friend, and a bunch of proven pretty parts, and you get beauty and magic! 
That is an elegant build. Simple but high quality throughout. What did you use for a finish, paint or P-C? And how does it ride?
