Edit: I'm saddened that I sold this bike today. I would have kept it, but I just have too many to fit in my garage.

^I want one of those cars on springs^
Nice bike too, dude. See you on the Spring ride.
I'd give you $400 for that bike. Wait maybe $300. Would you consider $250? I really dont want it that much, how bout $150?
The Superior is riding nice by the way.

Thanks folks!
I actually had it posted in Craigslist, on and off for $200 with rotted tires.
I couldn't decide whether to keep it or sell it. Then I rode it and it felt great. That Tange 2 tubing really gives a nice ride!
Big Chainring,
' hope you're enjoying that Superior as much as I enjoyed my lobster dinner!
See you at the spring ride.

DVC45, be careful with those seatposts. They can let water in and have a tendency to become rusted/stuck as a result (just ask realestvin7). You may think about replacing, or filling in the gap at the top of the seat cluster--or at least checking it periodically and keeping it lubed.

This is what one of those seat posts looks like after it gets stuck and someone "helps" you remove it without your permission. The original owner of this gave it to me after I acquired the frame from him.
The tool used? Pipe wrench.

Well, I tried to replace the seatpost today. The good news, there's no rusts and it came out just fine. The bad news, its a 27.0. My local toy store don't have any in stock.
Bill, that one looks bad. ' might still work, but it looks bad.

If no then no need to got that worried about it.
Lube it and dont worry about it if you dont ride that bike in the rain.
That stuff happens when the post is left dry (no grease) and has not been removed in a LONG time and wet.
If you get caught in the rain pull it out next chance you get and dry it.
Also check your BB. Any water that comes in around that post will end up in the BB. Service it regularly if you ride the bike in the rain No rain riding then service it like normal.

Here is a Peugeot PKN-10 I flipped last week. Got it from a neighbor and it had the neck frozen in the fork. More than likely a front end hit. I had been looking for a smaller frame to mount all the parts on
but gave up as other projects came along.Much to big for me. I put it on CL and got buyers within 10 minutes. Big guys looking for a tall bike. Ed

It hasn't been finished for long. Actually, it's still not finished. Will it ever be finished?! I've been so slow lately with my bike projects. I'm on the lookout for a 52 or 53 DA front chainring and new waterbottle cages (probably blue and/or neon green, perhaps painted to match the decals. So it goes.). But, to be honest, I have no excuse. Let me see if I can fix that...

Not as fancy as the other recent posts in here but here's the 1969 Continental I just finished, it was built to sell so don't expect anything amazing.

Not like I turned a sow’s ear into a silk purse, but there is a lot of detail work that is not obvious.
