Anyone remember the website
Someone posted a link a good year or two ago which listed what brand of bicycles pro teams rode during their careers, anyone happen to know where that site is?

I remember the thread, but can't come up with the website.
Perhaps someone else has got a better memory storage system than we have? East Hill |

Definitely worth wading through this website too.
And definitely book mark it for future reference. A great research tool! http://www.memoire-du-cyclisme.net/ This is a great place to wander through if you want to look up obscure historical data. Ever become curious when someone makes reference to a very early Tour de France? Well, this website concisely lists details for all the Tours from the very first one. Basically much of the data you might expect to find on one of the online websites while you're following a current TDF race on TV. But the entries here will show similar data from the earliest races, too. Not in English, but after just a bit of exploring you can easily become accustomed to wading through the various sections to research what you need to know. So, here on this site you can see: Final and individual stage win data, individual stage routes, team rosters, do a search to read about any Pro racers' other pro career wins, view gifs of the various obscure or now legendary team jerseys. Example: You want to see what year an old photo of Jacques Anquetil dates from. Look up the years he raced... View the different Jerseys he rode under... Voila! ... Here is his team's 1961 jersey. - Where else would you find data like this? |
