You didn't state 24" or 26". It's a swell bike but I really needed parts. Hope your respondant can do it justice.

Not sure if this belongs here or not. I thought about a separate thread, or one in the framebuilders SF, but anyway: I have a 1983 Trek 500 frame (no fork) with a kinked downtube and trashed - ie. partially chemical-stripped - paint. For me, the cost of replacing the dt and getting a powdercoat just doesn't make sense, but before I cut the tube and throw it out for the metal pickers, I thought I'd see if there's a budding basement framebuilder who wants to take a crack at it. It's Reynolds 501; 21" frame ser. # 077117. Yours for the cost of shipping.

Yours for shipping from 80301 is a basic gaspipe mixte frame (no fork). Decent condition although the paint isn't original. English threaded BB and will take normal center pull brakes. Frame is straight with no dings or other damage, etc, etc. There is a bit of rust bubbling on the BB shell, probably from poor prep before the re-paint. Looks like it will take about a 26mm seat post. I'll include the low quality BB (removed) if you want it. 126mm rear spacing, double rear eyelets, 115mm headtube, built-in kickstand plate. Did I forget anything?

I'll see your Monarch and raise you a '36 Colson Rover. It just needs some 28" singletube tires. Or maybe it needs a 700 conversion.

Not sure if these are desirable or not, but I have a pair of AVA tubular rims, 36h, from a Raleigh International ('73). Probably only have 1500 miles on them or so. Free for price of packaging/shipping. One is missing the sticker. Found these hanging in my parents basement this weekend, probably just where I left them.

It is probably just my feeling of greed, when something is offered for free it is hard to pass. I hope you can find somebody who can get use out it them.

I am updating my For Sale and/or Trade post to include a few things that are now FREE (except you pay for shipping) and there will be more as I uncover them and update the post so check back in a day or 3...I probably won't bother to take pics so you'll have to use your powers of imagination...
https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...-or-Trade-list
if it's in GREEN, it's FREE. (and it might take a little while to ship cause I'm going camping starting this weekend, so please be patient).

I am thinking this is an UO-8. Anyway, it is basically OK. Some rust.
Problem is someone reamed out the seat tube slightly and I have given up on trying
figure out what combo of shim and post works.
Headset is in OK condition, bottom bracket cups are good.
Free if you pick it up, otherwise I will try to keep the shipping to $25.
EDIT: Failed to list size: 56 c-to-c.

I don't know if anyone would be interested in this sort of vintage helmet or shoes, but I thought I would throw them up here. If interested, let me know where you would want it shipped, and I'll figure out the price.
The helmet is Bell and needs new pads inside. It shows the normal scuffs and scrapes for something this old. The foam is in good shape without cracks or chunks missing.
The shoes are Shimano, size 45.5 for SPD pedals. Shoes claimed pending payment

Used Super Champion Record du Monde. Free local pickup or $10-12 to ship. Lies flat, looks round. 32 holes. Rim shows little ware. As with most tubulars, double eyeleted.

I got some old rod brake roadster tires, 28x1 1/2. They're old but they'll work, maybe better than what you got. One of them is Raleigh brand. You pay shipping cause it's a 28"x28" box from zip 10977.

Wow, finally found this thread on page whatever. Maybe it should be a sticky, or people should give more stuff away. Anyway, found this jersey yesterday at a sale. Women's large PI, polyester but in a funky 80's sort of way. Color is a bit more orange than the pic. Tell me if you want it. Promised to Noglider.

Not bike related, but a C&V.... movie.
I have a DVD of the movie classic "Casablanca". The hitch is that it in HD format - you need to have that type of DVD player to play it. I have a Blu-Ray that plays regular and Blu-Ray DVD's and does not recognize this one. It won't play on my computer, either.
If you can use it, shoot me a PM. I'm majorly bummed that I cannot play it.
