I say offer them up here to the general public. I would take the caliper if it was dual pivot, but IIRC the RX40 is single. I have a pile of stems myself I need to get rid of so I'll pass on that too...Thanks for the offers though!

Your for shipping charges is a slightly damaged 83/84, 25" Miyata 310 frameset+. It was in a front-end collision. There is a tiny bulge in the top tube behind the headlug. You can't really see it but you can feel it. I'm sure it would roll out easily if it bothered you. The fork was bent significantly but I think the steer tube is OK as it looks straight and turns easily. I'm sure someone could straighten out the fork blades but I'm not going to try. They're warped but not creased. The frame is set up for a Shimano Golden Arrow shifter (top mount) but I have a DIY cable stop installed there now that I will include if you want it.

I'll include the headset, BB, crankset, RD, seatpost and brake calipers. I also have the original drop bars that I'll include if you want them. I'd expect shipping to run between $25 and $50 depending on your distance from zip code 80301.

I recently found my copy of the book The Custom Bicycle, by Michael Kolin and Denise De La Rosa. I bought this in 1980, I think. Anyone want it?

Strange, one of the first few results in Google is a pdf of the book, if anyone is curious.

I just looked that up and had to giggle at the typo on page 1 that refers to frames being built with, ahem, "Jugs".

I have a pair of Sidi Tecno shoes, probably size 44. However, they're missing the entire green plastic panel where the buckle and hook would be for closure. Got them that way, was planning to make some velcro closures and ride them with straps and cages, but they're not my size.

I also have a Bici Puteoli kit in euro size XXL if anybody wants it. Pre-owned, but very clean. Probably fits like a US XL or L.

Both items "free" for the price of shipping.

Time to give some stuff away that's cluttering my parts bin that I will never use. Free + the cost of shipping.

- Fuji branded alloy Sugino cranks. 165mm, 48T ring is part of the ds arm. I've had it forever and know nothing else about it. PENDING
- GT Gel Lite padded saddle. Came on a flip bike. 1" rip in bottom corner. This baby is going to the trashcan at the end of the week. Perfect for your low end 90's hybrid? Or good to put a cheap (free!) saddle on a flip bike.
- Pump umbrella. CLAIMED
- NOS Sugino dust caps. CLAIMED.
- NOS TURKEY LEVERS!!! I've got a couple sets of these and each set comes with cables and housing. The label reads Schwinn but the levers say Dia Compe. Still sealed in original wrapping and yet, somehow I doubt they will ever be worth anything....
- NOS derailleur cables. I've got a few bags of these too, they are old and French.

Not sure. It looks pretty standard to me. Appears to be about the size of Abe's cheek....

send me an email with an address and it's yours. Though I'm not sure how much it will be to ship...might be cost prohibitive if you're on the left coast.

How much would it cost to ship that crank? It looks like a good one for a singlespeed project.

I'm not sure. Padded envelope is probably what it would ship in. That + shipping would probably be somewhere around $5-7? I really don't ship much so that's not really a reliable guess...

DRietz, any pics of the shoes? I was looking for an SPD road shoe around size 43 that I can "experiment" with. I'm gonna make a stylish hybrid cycling shoe.

If those don't work the shift cables that come in the "Bike Tune Up Kit" by Bell (at Walmart and I'm guessing others) will fit Simplex shift levers (at least retrofrictions).

Earlier, about 72 and prior use 4mm heads instead of 4.4mm

I have a box of French "EJAC" double-ended cables. One end has a disc to fit Huret levers, the other end has a barrel to fit Simplex levers. The barrel measures 4.0mm in diameter:

The barrel end fits the Simplex retrofriction levers I have here.

PM if interested.
