Two tubular rims. Mavic, 36 hole is in pretty good shape. Matrix, 24 hole is slightly out of round. Check the pictures for rust, but brake surface has low wear on both.
Shipping will be $12 for 1, maybe $15 for 2.

Any good ideas on what to do with these? Do you suppose race groups would be interested? I have heard that you can get better responses listing on Craig's list for
$5 then giving them away. I suppose I might try that. I do have a pile that I am thinking should go to a scrap dealer. I can do the box of crap swap because I need to be short
a whole lot more boxes of crap by the end of the year.

Have a white Descente jersey, 1/4 zip, 3 pockets in back. Marked XXL but really a medium. In pretty good shape, no bizarre stains or marks, Descente arrows on sleeves. Nice jersey, just too small for me. CLAIMED!

Also have two sets of clip-on Aero bars. BOTH CLAIMED!

Free for the cost of postage.

Repost with a new pictures and new rim. 2 tubular rims.

24 hole Matrix. Slightly out of round, maybe 2mm. No wear to speak of:

Shipping usually around $12.

No name, 32 holes. Minor wear, round.

All claimed

Dave I'll take those rims next time I'm in Boston. Would love to come check out your stash if you're looking to move a bunch of stuff simultaneously also. I think I have your phone number still (I'm stien, you built me some wheels before) and I'll call you when I'm planning on making the trip.

1991 Trek 950 MTB

Kinda ratty and not real well cared for. To use as a beater bike, you'd need tires and brake pads. A better seat would be nice, too. Everything works, though it doesn't always like to shift to the biggest chainring. No rust bubbles, but there are a few very minor rust stains around the vents in the tubes, probably from water draining out after riding on wet trails. Taking it apart may be a booger.

I believe Trek called it a 20 inch size. I'm 5' 11', and it was just right on the road and a bit tall on these tight Eastern trails. I'm not too excited about the idea of shipping it, but if you're willing to come to the Roswell (Atlanta), GA area and you could put it to good use, let me know.

How about that Trek 950, FormerFF? I'm in Flowery Branch, and would love to come claim that sucker, since I'm not far away... I might even have a couple things you could use? Let me know if it's already been claimed.

You're the first local who has asked. I'll hold it for you if you like. I'm in Roswell and work in Norcross, if that would help.

Awesome! I tried to reply to your PM, but apparently until I get 50 posts, I can't even reply.

If you like, my e-mail is rme3@hotmail.com and I am ready to come pick it up Monday, Tuesday, whatever is convenient. I work in Buford which is not far from Norcross.....

Thanks! I greatly appreciate it. I've got some spare parts if you need anything, wheels, etc.....
Name's Rob.

23" Raleigh frame. Mid-late 70s. All straight except on problem. BB threads are bunged up. Not my size and I just don't have the space or time and patience at the moment.
I think you can straighten out the threads, but I don't know if they are English or Whitmore. BB in the pictures is Whitmore I think. Might also work to use VO threadless BB.

If nothing more, you will get a good fork out of it. Free plus cost of shipping.

Update: Frame has been spoken for. Thanks for the interest.

23.5" Trek 660 bare frame+fork. Previous owner reportedly hit a seagull with the bike on the roof rack. Front wheel got trashed, front dropouts tweaked, maybe fork bent. Headset turned just fine before it was removed. Surface rust, but internals look clean. Aside from the dropouts I can't see any damage. If you have the alignment tools this frame should be fine, but I don't want to make any promises.

Will send some pics if requested before tomorrow AM.

Pick-up in Baltimore/DC area very much preferred. Shipping will be ~$50 in the end otherwise.

Are you asking about the Raleigh? I think it would run $25-$30.

Destroyed is the wrong word. The guy who had it before seemed to think it was a total lost cause, but I can't find anything seriously wrong with the frame that can't be fixed in about an hour with the right tools.

Oh I was just surprised a seagull could cause such front end damage of a bike on top of a car.
A Trek 660 is worthy of saving. I wasn't considering it, as it's too big for me.

Here are some pictures. It's really not that bad. It's not perfect, for sure, but that's surface rust and the front drop outs can be bent back into place by someone with their eyes on a project. Last one shows the drop outs that are tweaked. The others show that the rest of the frame is straight and there's no damage behind the headtube.

I got the parts off the frame and am not in need of another project. This one can go to someone who is.

Shipping will be closer to $35 for most of the country.

EDIT: Claimed!

My wife would kill me... but I do have a good VO threadles BB and crank that would work.

Hmmm.... Better back away from this thread before I do anything too irrational.

Why do you think I am working so hard to get it out the door?

And out your door it is going.

Now to see what I have to pay it forward... I'm sure I can come up with quite a bit.
