I have a Sturmey Archer pulley without a clamping bolt and the cable keeper has the end broken off.

I know it is rough, but it is yours if you want it - I'll pay the postage.

American Classic Headset

I have a 1" American Classic Headset up for any taker. I'm not sure if this is ethically right to offer as part of the mating threaded portion is broken and cracked, but maybe some of the parts are useful. If it should be trashed let me know and I will do that instead. Use at your own discretion if you want it.

It came on a frame I bought 10-15 years ago, I never used it. The po staked both insertion press-fits, that's what the dots are. Both ends measure 1.187" [30.15 mm]. The bearings are smooth but could use some fresh lube. I know if this were in good condition it would be worth something. Anyway, the price is right (free), I'll pay shipping. pm me if you want it.

I've learned a lot from this forum, and more importantly had some great entertainment. I hope this headset is of use to someone.

juls, I just mailed the headset out to you today USPS, it will take 3-5 days to get there. Unfortunately, I don't have enough post counts to send PMs yet. Hope it works out for you.

I can post or send pics if interested.
I am interested if they are still available

Once you've done that, you've got nothing special, just something to build a beater bike out of. Pay me for shipping, and it's yours. That will probably be $30 or $40 shipped to the US.

Pictures are here.
I would definately be interested!!! If it isnt gone already, PM me please!!

I googled it, and found that the smithsonian offers the whole book as pdf online. So I was maybe interested, but now I'm not -- but I bet somebody else would love to have a hardcopy for their coffee table, looks like a great book!
