Need Univega info
 

I posted about this in Mountain Bikes but heard nothing...

I'm looking at a Univega Land Rover FS for a beater mountain bike. Anybody got info on this bike? Thanks!

I flipped this Rover last year after cleaning it up and replacing the seat. Got it for $3 at the transfer station. It had a Sugino double crank and Suntour gears, IIRC. I suspect the frame was a Miyata build, and it was stickered 4130 cromo. The downside was the long reach DiaCompe sidepull brakes, which were adequate at best.

The one I've seen has cantilever brakes, but beyond that maybe I should just go check it out. Thanks!
