It has a lugged and butted chromoly frame and good components. It was the top of the "Cross" line that year. My sister has two of them that have been sitting in the garage since new. She bought new bikes, but the Schwinn shop only offered her $30 in trade, so she kept them. They ride nice, but they're hybrids and I don't think hybrids will ever be worth much.

There's a guy trying to get $200 for a Crosscut here in Houston, and has been since spring of last year. He needs to take it to a pawn shop, and let it go, hehe. He says it comes from a "collection". Yeah.,,,,BD

They're both small frames. She's about 5' 6" tall and her husband isn't much taller.

I bet it would be great with some smaller wheels on it... maybe 650B
Plus some fenders
Those 700 wheels always looked too BIG on hybrid bikes

I'm looking for 2 grip-shifts for my Crosspoint. The grips have deteriorated over the years.

Is it necessary to replace grips and shifters (are they one unit) or can I just replace the grips?

Search on ebay for them or buy rubber grips and cut them down to size.
