ok but i really feel like rocket-or-otherwise powering a bike pretty much negates all the things that make them so interesting

(simplicity/efficiency/self-sufficiency)

Not only that but the idea of someone straddling a rocket isnt a good one! note the guy sitting directly on the rocket! if that thing blows he either dies or gets a sex change! :lol:
