Freewheeling BB replacement

I have an old Schwinn World Tourist that I set out to work on today. Sure enough it has a freewheeling bottom bracket, grrr. Once I remove it, will the bottom bracket shell have standard English threading?
Thanks

I answered my own question. Standard english bb threading. Upon examination this shimano front freewheel system is a terrible notion. Yuck.

But, you could shift while coasting!!! ;)

There was also a version for one piece cranks as well...

The only other thing needed is to replace the freewheel with a standard freewheel... otherwise I believe you end up with a messy situation... No coasting, and if you try, the chain will tighten up on the bottom, and loosen up on the top, placing a strain on the RD.
