Cotter pin sizes
 

I have noticed that the cotter pins on my Raleigh Twenty and different than those on my Sprite, even though both bikes are made in 1978.
And my Gitane is a different size yet again.
Is there a chart that can point me to the stock sizes or a source of cotter pins?
My Sprite has two different sizes and I'm sure both are wrong.

Well, there's maybe 2 or 3 sizes. I usually go to the bike store with what I took out and buy 5 or 6 so next time I still have some!

try the QBP catalog. You can get to it through the Harris cyclery website. Harriscyclery.com sells the pins but if they don't have your size in stock, qbp will. Shoot Sheldon an e-mail; he'll tell exactly which one to get.

I have a slew of NOS in various sizes. Send me the specs & if I have em, they're yours for a stamp.
