Vintage pedal straps FS; anyone interested in a bulk "coop" deal?

Below is an offer from the CR list. I could use a few of these, but not five. If anyone cares to go in with me (the strap pimp) for five or ten or even more pairs, I would offer to distribute for cost of postage. Advantage is lower cost when making a bulk order -- if we can get together an order for 10 pairs or more, they're just $8 plus postage per pair. Please PM or email me, specify black or white, with however many you would like.

************************************************************************************
I recently bought out all the remaining vintage toe clip straps in the Cinelli warehouse in Milan. They did not have any marked Alfredo Binda, but did have plenty of Bianchi Dino ones ones. Bianchi Dino is the same company that made all of the Alfredo Binda toe straps. The straps have the Bianchi Dino made in Italy 'stamped' into them (they do not have any paint in the stamp indentation). Beyond the stamp, these straps also have the 'winged C' Cinelli logo on the buckle and the name Gran Ciclismo on them.

I have them available in either white (with black writing saying Gran Ciclismo) or black (with white writing saying Gran Ciclismo)

To be able to turn over a large number of them in a short period of time, I would like to offer them at the following prices:

To addresses in the US:

One Pair: $14 including 1st class USPS shipping
5 Pairs: $50 including 1st class USPS shipping
10 pairs: $80 including 1st class USPS shipping

For foreign delivery please contact me for the exact amount, but it will likely be about $1 more per pair.

If you are interested, please indicate the number of pairs and whether black or white. I prefer to deal with cash, check or money orders, however if you are interested in at least 5 pairs, I will then accept Paypal (I'll send you the proper e-mail address where to send paypal in such a case)

Wow, $14 is a steal. Do you know if these are laminated?

Not laminated, and I already bought 10 pairs from the CR poster. Wish I would have know a week ago, just paid $30 for one pair from Cafe de Velo for a resto project!

I've gone ahead and requested 10 pairs, too: 8 black, and 2 white. As OFG said above, be aware that they are not laminated; but any straps for $8 have to be worth the cost. And I'm confident that they will be high-quality, though I couldn't find anything fitting seller's description exactly on eBay.

I'm in for a pair.

If you don't get the numbers, you might want to post this in single speed/fixed gear.

Put me in for five pairs, white. I can PayPal from my checking account (rather than from my credit card) or I can have my bank mail you a check -- please advise of your preference.

S**t -- what's it about white that I don't get? I'd have thought that everyone wanted black! I'll try to accommodate when I get in touch with Maasland. He hasn't responded to my email this AM yet.

HEhe, I hope he doesn't run out! I emailed him for 10 minutes ago (and yes more white than black). Thanks for the heads-up as I rarely check my CR digest these days.

Steven was telling me and JunkYardBike all about his acquisitions (and a near miss on another nice score) a few months ago at the T-Town swap. He's as trustworthy a guy as you'll find in this hobby.

If it will help fill out an order, I'd be interested in 1 white and 1 black. If not needed, or if he runs out, I can easily do without.

Thanks,

Z

strappy

I'm confused.

I'd like 1 pair white, 1 pair black. CW, you've already purchased yours? So do I need to collect a few other buyers here to equal 10 pairs - or do I email this Saint Steven?

Okay, I heard back from Steven Maasland -- he prefers a check, so I will mail him an order today. I assume that the numbers I listed below are still firm orders; if not, please PM me.
huerro: one pair black
Pars: two pair white
QuickDraw: one pair white
John E: five pairs white
lotek: two pairs black
jebensch: one pair white, one pair black
Charles Wahl: three pairs black

Actually, that's fifteen total.

OK, I've ordered/paid for 10 pairs each, white and black, based on the list below, plus an extra white, just to make round numbers. Shouldn't take long, since I did it by PayPal. Charge will be $8 per pair plus first class or priority postage to you. Depending on how many pairs you're getting, that will vary a bit. I'll advise each person what their total cost is by PM, so don't pay until I do that.

huerro: one pair black
Pars: two pair black
QuickDraw: one pair white
John E: five pairs white
lotek: two pairs black
jebensch: one pair white, one pair black
Charles Wahl: three pairs black
TommyL: one pair white

Qui moi? It certainly wasn't that many, but enough to go around. I have already packed and/or shipped a few hundred pairs. You can see what they look like here:

White: https://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/v/...etail.JPG.html
black: https://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/v/...traps.JPG.html

There are also a number of other items listed here: https://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/v/...or_Sale_Items/

My computer is on the fritz, so any delay in answering is not on purpose, but rather the result of technical difficulties.
