I have had this bike for a long time and it is one of many classicsi own. The question is who knows anything on it and know possible value. This is my first post so excuse me if i did something wrong. Also what stem might have come with this.

You have a very nice bike. If it's complete with the original Campy Pista components and there are no dings in any of the tubes and no corrosion, it's probably worth $1,000 or more.Originally Posted by Vo2maxbike

Look on the left rear dropout for the serial number and let us know what it is. We can tell what year it is and if you're lucky there will be an on-line catalog with specifications we can refer you to.
Welcome. You didn't do anything wrong.

Unless the dropouts were replaced at some time in its history, it should be there. Since it has Nervex Professional lugs, it has to be pre-1980, so the S/N will be on the dropouts, not the BB shell.
