What bar ends are you using? I have a set of DA 10-sp bar ends and would love to mount them on a DT.

It's an Ultegra 8sp bar end shifters and I am using a 7sp freewheel cluster. It works fine even with indexed shifting and I switch it to friction once in a while.

Closer but still not done. Added this H plus son archetype wheel with white industries ENO eccentric hub.

Cook Bro's racing cranks

I am my own period. So this bike is period correct.

My 1992 Schwinn Paramount (Kestrel frameset) with tri color Shimano 600. The original owner traded it back into the LBS (was Schwinn dealer) and I bought it out of the basement treasure trove. It was my first road bike.

Here is my TVT from 1993. It originally had Campy Record Ergo (with Delta) but after 17 years and 40,000 km it was worn out. I stripped the groupset for replacement parts on my 531 Proctor and left the bare frame on the shelf for 6 years. My main bike is a Ridley Helium so when the Dura Ace 9100 became available, I got a group right before Christmas. The Ultegra 6800 from the Helium could be used to resurrect the TVT. The only remaining components from the original Campy groupset are the seatpost, cable stops and headset. Fortunately the rear dropout spacing is 130mm since it was right about the time that 8 speed became the standard. I hope to get out on the refurbished bike in the springtime, it is dead of winter here in Calgary.

Not mine. I see this Mongoose occasionally at the park where I run the dog. Note the AMP fork.

Repaired TVT methinks...

I'd be a bit leery of any carbon repair not done personally or by someone who I know is good at it.
I don't see that the frame has been clear-coated after the repair, a Bad Thing since water infiltrates.

As presented, top-end of FMV. I ride Exxon Grafteks. I would be more afraid of this bike than those.

Re-post pics (updated) of my 1986 ALAN Record Carbonio

Like many here in the forum, I lost all my pics posted in this forum through PB.
So here's a re-post of pics (updated) of my 1986 ALAN Carbonio for this thread:

Still one of my favorite builds, I almost forgot how everything went together very well, even though I collected all the components separately through a long period of time not really thinking of what I would use any of them for.

I recently picked up a Miyata CT-3000 from 1990. It's got a carbon wrapped aluminum tube main frame and aluminum fork and stays. Not super light but snappy and comfy at the same time. I'll have to get some pictures up soon.
