Thanks for fixing that Marty.
Thanks RK |
Great bike! Did you apply the decals yourself? I have some to apply and I heard they should be "burnished" with a hard object?
--------does anyone have any suggestions regarding the best object to use? |
sweet. love the light blue, too.

We are kindred steel spirits. I'm embarking on a Ciocc fix-up and I've been looking at light blue powdercoat colors. Is that powder? 6037 maybe? Very curious. I also just got a great deal on a too-small Basso with the same DA headset that I'm thinking of carrying over and wondering if I should abandon my search for a Record crankset and pick up the $60 Dura Ace at my LBS to match. That's the Pinarello saddle you picked up a couple months ago? Well done. Very classy ride. Any tips would be appreciated and most likely utilized. |

I don't know if they still make them, but I use a burnisher (astonishing, I know). We used to use them in the graphic arts industry for press type and I find them very helpful for restoration these days. Check with an art/drafting supply place. The back of a baby or espresso spoon works too. Suggestion: if this is your first time, you may want to practice. If you have any extraneous decal, try it say underneath the bb. It comes of with some 3M solvent pretty easily (also available form your art/drafting supply)
THANKS DUDE!!!!!!!!!! |

Aww look at my old Bianchi all gussied up and ready to rock! You did a great job with it, and now that I see it in natural light the color looks awesome and right! Love the DA Gruppo too.. I know everyone gets their pants in a bunch for shimano on italian but screw that, that shimano stuff is excellent!
