Torelli Corsa Strada
Hi:
My first posting at this forum. In 1988 I purchased a Torelli Corsa Strada from a bike racer in California. The bike has sat in my garage for the past 20 years. I just spent the weekend cleaning it up. It has all original parts (ambrosio wheels, campy components, modolo brakes). The frame is Oria steel (made/ painted in Italy according to Bill McGann). Can someone tell me how to identify the campy group? Also, looking to replace the saddle with something less bulky than current Selle Royal. Any inputs? Also, frame/ paint in very good shape less a few paint chips. Wondering if I should clear coat the chipped areas or touch-up paint? cheers |
