Since just being in eyesight of people with small minds is enough to set them off; I don't give a rat's rear and wear what I like. Wool Maglia Rosa, retina-burning Euskaltel orange, or my collection of Team Discovery jerseys; it's all good. Never had a problem with rednecks or otherwise, and Alabama certainly has its share.

Tandem riders wear matching jerseys; I've never seen them without them. So why not happily married couples? Wear them with pride.

Whatever count you get, increase it by one any time I am there.

I may live in PA, but I own a small piece of land in Auburn... at the Mountain View Cemetery.

and that's just off the top of my head.

Not including Little Darwin, although we are trying to coax him to come and visit his mum, and preferably not before he takes that final ride out to MVC !

Perhaps I need to put up a thread to see how many of us C & V South Puget Sounders are really here?

part of the reason it looks awesome is no doubt, knowing what the jersey represents. still, i'm tempted to click over to rapha's website and click on buy. even in metropolitan ny, i still am a little hesitant to wear pink... the problem is that they have morrissey, and our version of that is richard simmons...

When I was racing sailboats, we would strive to all have the same shirt on for races. I even crewed for one owner that would supply crew shirts at the start of the season and expected you to show up at his boat with yours on.

I see nothing wrong with a husband and wife having matching attire for sporting activity.

Okay, now that jsharr has weighed in, you have the definitive answer - never wear matching jerseys. Ever.

Good attitude.

Personally, my wife & I have never done this, not even on our tandem, but when I've seen other couples dressed the same I haven't had negative reactions or anything.

I think wearing matching outfits looks totally dorky. My wife thinks it's cool. So, we often look totally dorky.

just a little off topic but to show how oddball things can be fun. When we found out Wal-Mart was open 24 hrs we decided to go check it out one Saturday at 1:00 am during the Christmas shopping season. We took a nap that evening to make sure we would be able to stay awake and then went there. It was a total blast to see how many people actually shop that time of the night. We even bought some stuff ourselves. Our high school senior thought we were nuts but hey maybe we are but that's the kind of stuff we do sometimes and have a lot of fun doing it. Hey I figure I'm almost 55 I have a right to act immature. and I bet that kid of ours will remember us doing dorky stuff and laughing about it to her kids when we are gone. I want my kids to remember me as an adult that refused to grow up.

My friend told me "the better the Christmas photo, the more screwed up the family" and "if they are wearing matching sweaters, someone is being beaten".

Of course, I am not suggesting that your wife is beating you, just sharing.
