Back on the fixie bandwagon!!!
There was a thread last month that included a Gloria track frame stashed in the basement of an LBS. I passed on that but it got me thinking about fixed gear again. I had that Olmo I converted to fixed gear and it was fun to ride. I am a little low on cash so to save some money I converted my Cinelli Model B. The best part was that the only braze-ons the frame I had to cut off were the pump pegs to give it that clean look.

.....;)......:roflmao:
edit: you weren't kidding! Still I assume the cutting off of a pump peg is a joke? |
Since it is April Fool's day, any mention of converting any decent geared bike to fixed or single speed is an appropriate joke.
|
Did I mention that I went IAB's way and lobbed off the brazeons on my Paramount too?
;) -Kurt P.S.: Would have been easier to do the conversion in actuality, and photoshop-out the derailer hanger, rather then photoshop the entire shebang (yes, I see where it's been fiddled with...). |

maybe because it seems to be a strange place for a pump peg and it appears there was once a sticker in that area?

Fellow is a good photoshop artist though: Recall, of course, that this thing never had an internal derailer hanger (just realized it myself), rather, it is early enough to have a Gran Sport on a Campag claw adapter. If you look closely enough at the first photo, you'll see the top of the black hanger clamped onto the side of the dropout. Now, if he really wanted to fixie this, he wouldn't have left that thing on there. -Kurt |

Never was a sticker in the area - the outline of the shifter clamp is what has you fooled.

I'll come up with something better next year. :) And here are the original pics. http://www.h3odesign.com/Cinelli/cinelliorg.jpg http://www.h3odesign.com/Cinelli/cinelli%20088.jpg |
This is generational warfare! Expressed through vandalism!
