I'm compiling a "bike reference chart"
 

I'm making some effort to compile a condensed bike reference chart that I intend to keep handy posted in my shop. Serial number info is a lot of the focus now but anything that is "obscure" and useful about bikes I'd like to have listed. Thought I'd share, check it out if you'd like. Please feel free to contribute also.

looks like a quick way to summarise a bike

Trek has serial number codes, and T-Mar has serial number worked out for a couple of the Japanese makers.

By the end of the weekend my Peugeot searchable database will be done. There'll be a dozen or so fields. Enter some basic info about any U.S. Peugeot and it'll spit the model down to the year.
