1970-something Motobécane Super Mirage

Found this one in the free section of the local craigslist along with a couple other bikes from the same time period, a Ross Eurosport and a Raleigh LTD-3.

The Ross will most likely be stripeed for parts and the Raleigh's fate is still up in the air at the moment, both of these are women's framed bikes.

In with that lot was this Moto, all I needed to do was put air in the tires and it was good to go.

I've already put a few miles on it and it's solid as a rock.

That's a gas meter, it measures how much Co2 I'm not expelling by not driving.

Actually, it is a gas meter on the abandoned railroad station next door but it's also my inability to take decent pics in a hurry.

Suntour components, I think it might have standard english threaded BB, easy to find replacement parts. Really nice find. I'd replace the rubber parts if needed, tires, brake pads, maybe cables. Enjoy riding it.
Edit: Was it made in France or is it a Japanese frame?

Only things I can find that says made in Japan are the drivetrain components, the saddle is a Sella.

I'm not sure where the frame and all was made...
