Odd Motobecane Tubing and Corresponding Seat Post
Hey there,
So I recently picked up an old Motobecane frame for free. The entire bike is "aero" tubing, in that it is triangulated. Oddly, this includes the seat post and it appears that the headset cups are as well. Has anyone seen a triangulated seat post before? It's possible that the cups are circular and it just appears eccentric due to the aero tubing. Is this part of some type of "aero" group? At first, I thought it was the Dura-Ace AX group but that seat tube is nowhere near the triangle that this seat tube requires. The frame is relatively nice (decent tubing - Shimano Forged drop outs - braze ons and such)
Any Ideas?
Apologies - no pictures or frame model until thursday - I left the frame at the CoOp.
Thanks

OK, so i got the pictures. It's a Motobecane Profil 2. I found some info in previous posts about this bike but I still have a few questions. Would I be able to find a seat post anywhere? And If I need special headset cups - Are those available?
