Schwinn Super Sport 80's?
Hi, my name is Ryan. I am trying to figure out when the bike was made and it's current value. I picked this bike up last spring when I saw it leaning up against a tree with a "$40" sign on it. I talked the guy down to 30 bucks - at the time I wasn't even looking for a bike, but finding this has totally got my into biking. The bike is a Schwinn Super Sport with all components Shimano 600(accept seat{avocet racing 1}, handlebars/stem{sakae custom}, headset{tange falcon}, and pedals/rims{mavic}). The color is pearl white with weird grayish/sea foam graphics. The serial # is on the front of the frame and reads: 5F06391. It has frame decals that read: "Tenax Columbus" and "made in japan for schwinn". I have had people tell me that it is a rare find and I can't seem to find one like anywhere.
Thanks in advance,
Ryan

It's an '85:

I had the same one from '88 through the mid-90s. It was a great bike.
I say it would probably be valued around $200 - $250 if in good shape.
