WHERE IS THE "SNIPER"? Where is the maroon tubing? Follow the money.

In the interest of full disclosure and a full exploration of this very interesting question concerning C&V forum participation sales ethics I call on (1) Noah Scape, (2) RobbieTunes and (3) the yet unnamed "SNIPER" (especially the "SNIPER") to offer defense of their actions outlined in these previous threads.

https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vintage/409882-speciality-color-cable-housing-bar-tape.html

https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vintage/410812-protocol.html

I also ask for the observation and contribution of the C&V moderator as to the appropriateness of the resultant sale of these items as "public" offerings as opposed to "private, individual and direct" transactions consequent to my inquiry, thus ultimately failing to satisfy the spirit if not rules outlined in the sticky thread, "SELLING A BIKE OR COMPONENTS? Read This FIRST".

Or, how I did all the work and still got stiffed!

All others are welcome to comment. Respects to all.

Well, my take on this is WHY ARE YOU POSTING THIS? It has nothing to do with Bike Forums. It was a transaction between a couple of people. How and why things happen are no concern to Bike Forums.

I understand you are upset, but don't bring Bike Forums into this. The only thing that Bike Forums can do is make it so there are no no more barters, trades, requests for items. They have been very lenient in allowing these outside of the For Sale forum.

Whew!

Sweetlou, be sweet.

The reason I post it here is because it happened here. And I value the opinion of the collective wisdom to be found here.

You don't understand at all. You misread me entirely if you think I'm upset. I am serious but entirely cheerful. If you read carefully my comments you will see the humor and sensitivity I'm expressing all along.

I bear no grudge or malice toward Noah, Robbie or the "SNIPER". I just think their behavior leaves something to be desired. And I'm trying to make my case. I'm trying to convince them to improve.

My posts are filled with appreciations and respects.

I'm having some fun with a disappointing but ultimately inconsequental situation.

Don't spoil the fun. We can all learn something from this.

Civilization is defined by the honor of individuals.

If you don't like it, pass on. Switch the channel.

Let's be friends. Otherwise, I'll just add you to my blah, blah list and press on. Your choice.

Cheers.

I agree that there doesn't need to be any more threads about this. Give it a rest, or at least keep it within the two thread we already have on this. I don't often bring out the Mod powers in this forum, but in this case, I'm going to deem this thread: closed.
