Guerciotti frame date, please?

Anybody know the year of this Guerciotti frame?
https://www.bikecult.com/works/archiv...iottiSLXC.html

I just bought its spittin' image in yellow, found on CL thanks to a eBay/CL thread mention here by bikemore, and I wouldn't have it without Neal Lerner's local "procurement" assistance. The lo-res CL pics are attached, and I will post more as soon as I clean it up. It's exactly the same as the blue one, except that the "signature" decal is located near the seat tube, and there were once two "Campagnolo Equipped" decals near the front of the top tube -- unfortunately one of them's been pulled off, and clear-coat with it.

No Ten-Speed Drive Imports serial number decal like the blue one has under the down tube, nor even any residue; but it does have a TSDI decal on the base of the seat tube.

I'm fairly certain that it's from 1983 to 1987, and I believe it's the GLX model; definitely has Columbus SLX tubing. Mine is not as immaculate as the blue one, but it's certainly the highest-quality frame that's passed through my hands.
Mark Bulgier's 1984 catalog page shows a yellow frame, but not the GLX model, his '85 catalog has all the higher-end frames with white panels, while the '87 shows fade paint jobs on the higher-end frames. This one came with Campy SR headset and BB, and I don't think those were marketed after 1985, when C-Record came on.

Thanks for any help,

Only bit of help I can offer is that the "Paulo Guerciotti" seatstay cap came out in '84 and no earlier. If I am not mistaken, the newer Guerciotti decal design also dates from 1984 as well, although I am not entirely certain.

I would assume later then '84 though, as the one '84 model that I have had pass through here did not have a center point on the headlugs, as the blue example shows.

P.S.: Not that it is important in the case of this one machine, but if I am not mistaken, all T.S.D. Guerciottis, at least those made after 1983, have the TSD "cyclist" logo pantographed on the chainstay bridge.

Perhaps earlier models had this as well, but I have yet to see an example to confirm with - I do have one example with a flat bridge, no TSD decals, and no TSD pantographing, but it is an '82/3.

I'd guess '85 or '86, possibly 1987 at the *very latest* The parts other than the headset are most likely original. It is a TSD bike, witness the logo on the brake bridge.

I found my Gooch of the same era to be quick handling, and a 'feels like I'm going fast' bike but not as stable and stiff in the BB as my other bikes, or as fast in actuality.

Well, I'm not sure I'd know the difference ;')

My frame has details exactly like the blue bike, except for the decal differences mentioned, and has the Campy Super Record headset. The blue one is from Bike Works NY web site, where they have a gallery of bikes they built or did substantial work to for customers. That may mean that the headset on it is a replacement.

The frame I got is exactly the same color as Chuckk's, but with chromed fork and chainstays. I have everything Super Record to build it up, except for the braze-on FD.
