Raleigh sprite
I recently aquired a Raleigh sprite I am guessing about 1980 vintage?. It has drop bars, Red paint with black infill- I would like to think that it is Reynolds as it is quite light but I am guessing not. It's appearance is that of a super record with fenders?
Ps I paid way too much

Sprites were lower end bikes. No Reynolds tubing. And yes, they were at many times just reworked Records. At other times they were spiffed up Sports.
Here's my 1970-ish one.
What it looks like now
still waiting on brakes and a lockring.

Looks like a nice speeder- Mine has a brooks comp saddle and is 12 speed ? but the rims are original BSA- iI am thinking it may have been a Raleigh dealer pulling a few parts together - Rides lovely though I will be removing the fenders and going to 700c with 38c tyres -
