Headset options for a '72 Schwinn Sports Tourer

I have not yet gone to it with calipers.

I am wondering about stack issues, diameter issues with Schwinn's own dimensions. Has someone updated their headset on one of these?

Someone recommended https://cgi.ebay.com/Chris-King-Heads...2em118Q2el1247

Any ideas for options?

B-K,

Not the best picture, but I bought this Chris King headset from Aspire Velotech, and it works perfectly in my '72 Super Sport. If I remember correctly, it is the grip nut version. I don't know what the difference is. I have original headsets if you are interested.

I had a machinist friend fabricate reducing bushings out of aluminum so now I can use any standard 1 inch headset.

Thanks for the pic- I've not seen your SS...

I have yet to commit to the $129 headset-

We'll see...

Wish there were more options- I have the original headset-

Also, a set of screws for the badge, that I do not have!
