Help Identifying an older Specialized MTB

Anyone know what year the specialized rock hopper was pink and blue with the rear brake mounted on the chain stay?

Thanks

Need Pics. My guess is somewhere around '87 to '90. U-Brakes weren't around for very long from what I recall.

Specialized used U brakes from 87-89, with a couple 16.5" frames still using them in 1990.
Yours is NOT a 1987.

Probably '87 or '88. By 1989, they'd gone totally cantilever, except for possibly a few models in the very smallest frame sizes.
