Beautiful bike! Instills a lot of confidence in the rider too, as you can see.

You did pretty well, IIRC. Sailed through the series and well on your way to a podium finish in the criterium final until you got "cavendished" and fell back. And proceedings weren't slow either.
BTW, the rider on the left is fellow forumite stevenc on his trusted Poggio.

Wow this is great stuff! I recall that Poggio being a real head turner.
If you got more pics, let me know. My entourage didn't take many...

Sure. Not as many as I'd like, and it involved some clipping, but here we go.
At the start. (I loved the way the mayor, the police chief and the pastor were present at all times during the weekend)

First round behind the derny:

This was not just for show, and there was little room for error. Good thing there was no rain.

And there's that Knetemann lookalike again. (BTW, the guy in orange is riding a fabulous Jan de Reus)

There was a Dutch invasion at my place yesterday, bought a nice 90's Gazelle Formula Race from a young Dutch couple off CL. My purposes for doing so are less than honorable though, my plan is to take the 7 speed STI off and place it on my son's bike (he's not enamored with DT shifters). Of course the moment he sees the Gazelle and the fact that it would fit him, he may abandon the Prologue (which I think may be a slightly better frame)...

Welcome, @Brands! Always nice to see a new RIH here. What's the serial number? I'd like to add it to the RIH thread for reference purposes.

except: let's get some dirt on that bar tape! This Sunday sounds like the opportunity for it. I cannot bring a RIH unfortunately, though there's a fine example on mp ATM in my size, but above my credit-limit.

It's been a while, but with rain falling from the skies on my day off there's no more excuse not to post my ride from the past RetroRonde van Vlaanderen.

Man, they are tough to find in the market.
I keep looking, but zero luck has come my way.
There is one in Mpls. The owner won't even let me breath on it.

Thnx Don. Will bring the RIH trackbike to show at RIH workshop. Not tend to use this particular track bike for touring purpose next Sunday, since i have never practised riding fixed... I will take my Germi or Aandewiel for a spin. Most likely Germi, since i have never taken it for a sereous
. That RIH on MP is one of the most beautiful I've seen for some months.

Dunno about the RIH ride. Probably not. The announcement didn't look particularly inviting.

Two Zielemans I scored this winter.
A rare Zieleman mixte frame for which Maarten was so kind to give me some nice white Bluemels to mount, unfortunatly the tight geometry did not leave room enough for them so they did not make the bike in the end.
Columbus tubing and all the nice Zieleman detailling is there.

And i picked up this really tiny one in the north of Amsterdam from a guy who is a friend of Ko and still watches races with him.
This one is a little small even for me
He also had a beautiful fully super record equipped Zieleman in my size in his shed but he hanged on to that one
This one has a funny paintscheme and he said it used to be ivory white with red decals and on repainting his girlfriend chose this color.
Nice Z detailing in the lugs and Ko made a groove in the toptube in to guide the cable along the toptube ( the modern housing I used is apparently just a little bit smaller so the fit is just a bit more loose compared to the original housing.)

Nice bike, don't know if I will keep it because of the size

Nice pullup. My little 10 year old nephew needs an introduction in some proper Amsterdam ol'steel racing
