search broken : Bottecchia?

So with our trying economic times, I think I'd like to try to build up and older bike rather than buy a new one.

I found a frame on craigslist. Looks like 70s or 80s Bottecchia. Ad states it needs a new BB and headset.

I am very mechanically inclined (taught myself to work on cars), but i don't know much about the old standards.

How hard is it to come by these parts? Where do you look? What about wheels -- where do I find something 126mm dropouts?

I've looked around a little and feel like the questions I'm asking are basic to C&V and I hope I'm not annoying you guys.

Mostly I wanted to state that I have no desire to turn this beautiful frame into a SS/FG and do barspins or skids in the local parking lot.............
