Sakae sp 11 toe clips?

Hello Everyone,

One of my favorite accessories on a bike is the toe clip ( I love these things)...especially chrome ones! Boy did I find two today that I loved and bought for 5 bucks a pair

1 set is a mini christophe---I'm pretty new to vintage bike accessories, but it was the first set of mini toe-clips I've ever seen

the other set I didn't look at carefully enough when I bought them... In stead of being bent at a 90 degree angle so that the pedals and the clips can be merged together the mounting area is parallel to the top of the clip (i.e. to mount these clips you need to screw them in the bottom of the pedal not the front...make sense, like 99% of toe clips mount one way, by screwing into the reflector plate, these would need to some how screw into the bottom of the pedal).. heres the thing they are made by sakae S/R and here's the other thing they have the original leathers!!! But they are useless to me unless I can find the pedals (which seems like a fun thing to take up, but what pedals?). I think they are the--- Sakae/Ringyo (SR) SP-11 http://www.velobase.com/ViewSingleCo...9-d654f3410143

But I am not sure. Any ideas? can you even find these pedals? If not, are these clips worth a few buck or are they pretty much worth 5 buck ;)

Thanks masters!

B

More likely for the SR 152 pedals.

Do you have a picture of those pedals?

There were a couple companies that made pedals like that for aerodynamics. I have a pair of MKS, and I remember Shimano had some as well. They look cool, but if you break a toe clip, good luck finding a new one.

looks like I had good luck finding them... umm... like I don't really need them, just putting a word out there :)
