74 Raleigh Pro

I really like the ride of my Raleigh Sports 3 speed so I built this up with upright bars and wide Brooks saddle. The frame is a Raleigh Pro with an "A" serial number. I think this is a 1974. The chrome on the fork was terrible so I covered them with some vinyl sign strips. Found a Raleigh branded Suntour rear shifter but still looking for a front.
It rides great.

How does it ride? I'd think the racing-style geometry of the Pro wouldn't work well with upright bars and thus less weight distributed toward the front, but who knows?

I don't have many miles yet but so far it is a very stable ride.
