First bike ?
 

When I was a kid all I wanted was new bike, but,the first few were 2nd hand,when I turned 12 my Dad thought it was time to get the boy "a real bike"so off to the LBS,we were living in the UK then and everyone wanted a "Hetchins" (I should be so lucky) but I did get a "Holdsworth pro"in orange and blue,campagnolo was a bit pricey so was Zeus equiped, I realise now how classy that bike was, and now its a "Classic" it was my first love,still is ! what was your first "NEW" bike ?

Just before Breaking Away hit the theaters, I bought what I consider my first real bike: a pearl blue Peugeot PX-10 Super Competition. I still like the look of that bike to this day, perhaps in part because I remember how many lawns I had to mow in order to afford it. There were many flashy Italian bikes back then that I would have preferred, but it seemed like I could never mow enough grass to be able to afford them. ;)
