Bates frame numbers - where?

I'm trying to identify a Bates of Westcliff frame - does anyone know where the frame number would be? Alternatively, can anyone identify the frame from photos of it? The seller reckons it's from the 50s, which if true and according to classiclightweights would put it from 54 to 59.
