De Rosa "Primato"
Gentlemen,
I am considering the purchase of a early 90's De Rosa Primato, Columbus SLX, Campy Chorus. From my research, De Rosa has a solid reputation. Any specific insight on these frames from the early 90's time period? Thanks! |
These were fine bikes, in fact one of the top 3 or 4 Italian manufactures!

what are the top manufacturers?
Basso, Battaglin, Bottechia, Cinelli, Colnago, De Rosa, Guerciotti, Masi, Merckx, Pinarello, Pogliaghi, Tommassini, Tommaso... etc? |
Are you sure it's SLX and early 90's?
This bike? http://miami.craigslist.org/bik/703667449.html I know a few folks who've passed on it. You should check it very closely. It's been for sale for months, there must be a reason. |
BTW– That craigslist miami fellow has an italian email address and won't ship.

While I don't have a De Rosa my Cinelli is also a sweet ride; maybe that's why I put in my top 4 list!
