Mint Fuji Absolute ~1988
 

Picked this up today for $50 from Craigslist for my wife or daughter. It was sitting in some guy's basement for 15 years, and was ridden very little before that. The suicide lever is dated 10/87 and the front brake is dated 3/87, so I'm guessing it is a 1988 model. I spent a couple hours cleaning and it looks great.

There were two numbers on the bottom bracker: OC 054 and F7124980; not sure which is the serial number. One little scratch on the frame but otherwise in terrific condition and was clearly not ridden much before it went into mothballs.

Very nice find, it looks like a museum piece! I can verify, that is a 1988 model. I had the identical model and the derailers dated to 1988. I like the stem Accushift.
