stand for my bike
 

I want a stand to park my road bikes when I ride someplace so I don't have to lay it down on the ground. I have one of the topeak stands that attaches to the crank but it doesn't work so well. I has to be compact and fold up so I can get in a bike bag or panniers. Any Ideas? I know the geniuses here will be able to point me in the right direction its that or I put a kickstand on my Bianchi :(

Many bikes in the eighties had a little device on the down tube that flicks down and locks the front wheel. I think they're called "flickstands." Of course, you still have to lean it against something.

I always like kickstands, myself. :)

Not on a racing bike, of course. But then I don't have a racing bike, so I don't worry about being seen with a kickstand. :)
