My new grocery/all-weather bike

It's pretty awesome if I do say so myself:

Sturmey Archer Sprinter Elite 5 w/ drum brake.

Campy Tipo hub up front. The hubs are laced to Alex dm-18 rims, built 'em myself.

I give the SKS chainboard 2 out of 5 stars. It's working, but I had to sand and melt it to keep the chain from hitting it and the crank still rubs on it.

The whole back of the bike was such a massive pain to put together.

I've been hanging on to this bit for a few years, just like the hubs and crankset and frame, waiting for the day I'd get to use them.

Folded out.

It's a Nishiki Kokusai (international) I got probably 4 years ago, it all finally came together!

Very awesome, I have had my eye on those wald baskets myself. How do you like them, do they rattle like crazy? I have never seen a high flange tipo hub before, cool.

Nope, no rattling at all. Wherever there's no paint though- like underneath the hook that holds the basket closed- there's already rust.

Very very nice....you should cross post it in utility also.......

I am guessing you have pretty flatproof tires on it....it looks like changing a rear flat would be a bit of work

+1 on the walds......I use them no rattle when folded and as long as something is in them... no rattle when unfolded.
