1958 Hawthorne (large images attached)
So, my wife and I are the proud owners of his and her 1958 Hawthorne English 3-speeds. We aren't exactly sure what the heck we stumbled upon and would love any advise.
They don't appear to need too much work. All the gears seem to be fine and everything works. Paint is good too. I mean it could do with a respray, but I'm cool with the way they are. Will need a really good tuneup as well.
Also, anyone know a good shop in NY/NJ that specializes in tuning and maintaining vintage bikes?
Anyway, PICS! (bikes are in Florida. bought these from my friend down there):

Thanks Kevinsubaru! Yep. The guy bought them many moons ago for he and his wife. Stayed in the family for 3 decades before I bought them.
I can't wait til they get here. I'm already scouring the web for vintage parts.
