does this count?
Im fixing up a '76 Nishiki Olympic and was just wondering if this was considered vintage/classic?

The definitions of vintage and classic are vague enough that you can certainly declare your 32-year-old Nishiki to qualify. Many car and bicycle enthusiasts use a somewhat arbitrary cutoff of 25 years. Others figure that any road bike which is old school, with toeclips, friction shift, nonaero brake cabling, etc., qualifies as "vintage." To many, "classic" carries an additional requirement of at least a modicum of quality. The Olympic is a good sturdy bike, but nothing special beyond that.

My daughters boyfriend has an Olympic in red and white its a 10 speed. All original as far as I know and light and fast he rides circles around all of us on that thing. Nice bike its really responsive but not twitchy

Sure, you qualify, come on in, pull up a chair. Someone get this man a drink!
