are these bikes getting that high up there in value?

Bet they don't get an opening bid. Those bikes are sought after, but not to that extent. At least not yet. I think.

They may be nice and rare,but so is a good steak...thats way too much!

Nasty dent for that kind of price, as well as the scared up stuff.

Doesn't have any bids 2.5 days into the auction. Admittedly, both are desirable bike models, but both are somewhat non-original examples and hardly pristine. Plus buying two bikes at once, I think I'd expect a discount rather than a premium. I don't see why the seller didn't break it up into two auctions.

But with ebay, you never know.

Bad photos, slightly less-then-stellar examples. Won't sell.

That dent is too much. Plus small frame sizes, odd parts, must buy two............all very problematic.

Fine examples of each of these models have sold for $1000+ this season. These two, sadly, add nothing to their "legend".

That's what I was thinking too, the dent and scratches are really unfortunate.

There was another one (exactly like mine) on another craigs for $650, and the only completed one on ebay went for $350 or something and it was BEAT. I'd sell mine for 600-700 if someone offered :rolleyes:
