My new (to me) ride

Check out my new ride. I believe its a 1982 Fuji Team. I still have a few adjustments to make (seems like you never get a ready to ride 'er off ebay). I just finished putting on that matching bar tape. What color brake hoods do you think I should stick on there? I am in love with the Fuji badge and the chrome lugs on the fork, and damn does she fly.
Heres some of the components.
Double butted 331 cro-moly frame
Diacomp single pillar brakes
Fuji "comfy boy" saddle (leather!)
Some kind of michelin tire I believe
Nitto Olympiad Bar and a nitto stem of some sort
Suntour ARX F/R DR
Suntour Sunshine gyromaster hubs/ BB
Bontrager Select cranks
Rocket (?) 48 t big ring not sure about the small ring but its a 2 x 6 overall

Very nice YungBurke! I agree, it is a very cool Fuji badge.

When you say it is " 2 x 6 overall", do you mean 2 chain rings and 6 on the back?

Very nice ride. I like those Fuji Team bikes. That frame should provide a very nice ride.

BTW, Hasek, yes 2X6 means a double up front and six gears in the rear. In this case it is probably a friction shifter and almost certainly a six speed freewheel in the rear.

yeah i have since adjusted the bar angle. Not a very large bike though 51 cm frame 31 1/2 in standover. I have a strangish build so bikes are kind of hard to fit for me. I am having to do a lot more work than I thought I would have to... got a little mad tonight and almost threw the god damn thing, but i stopped myself.
