Dawes Galaxy decals needed
I am restoring my 1973? Dawes Galaxy my parent purchased for me when I was 14. Where can I find replacement decals? It was the green model with gold and silver decals. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Nick Tithecott at Lloyds strangely doesn't have much Dawes stuff listed.
But I haven't actually emailed/phoned him about it yet.
I need some for my Galaxy when it gets a repaint soon.

i jam my thumbs up and back into the tubes. this way i can point my fingers straight out in front to split the wind and attain an even more aero profile, and the usual fixed gear - zen - connectedness feeling through the drivetrain is multiplied ten fold because my thumbs become one with the tubing.

Have you tried contacting a local refinisher? Dawes Galaxies are pretty common, so they are probably a pretty common refinishing job too. Bob Jackson and Argos racing Cycles have good reputations for paint, but there really are a lot of options. There's a guy in ******ch, which is not too far away from you. I forget his name mind.
