Then next year either buy a new Bianchi or buy a very nice older bike. But, who knows. If you see a bike I might like, I could be persuaded. :D Especially if it is 80's Japanese steel.

I really was planning on not buying another bike for some time, but I couldn't resist. I have wanted a Fuji. I found a Fuji Espree and decided that I could buy it and turn it into a fixed gear singlespeed bike. The chain was skipping on the two smallest cogs, had stem shifters, suicide brake levers, bolt on derailer, but I didn't care since I was going to change all of that anyway.

Now it's off to working on this bike. I've decided to have my wheels built for me, instead of building my own. Basically through work, I can order hand built wheels for about the same price for me buying the parts and doing it myself. I typically build my own, but when I saw the wheel I almost wanted for the same price so I decided to let someone else do the work. My new wheels will be here Friday.

I hate the older non aero brake levers. They just are not comfortable in my hands and don't brake as well as aero ones. I like the Tektro R100a levers, very comfortable. I will need to change the levers, but I haven't decided what to do with the bars. These drop bars are a bit narrow for me. I prefer 42cm drop bars. But, I'm starting to think I might want to put on some cruiser type bars. Something like North Road or the Soma Sparrow bars. I will have to decide before I order the levers.

I apologize for lying to the group. I will try not to lie again. I just can't promise not to buy any more bikes. :D
