Dura-Ace AX fd install?

I was recently told that the braze on AX front derailleur is designed to work with its own unique braze-on bracket that incorporates a special cable guide. See here:

I'm planning on putting this on a standard front derailleur braze-on.
Has anyone here successfully installed an AX braze-on front derailleur with a standard braze-on bracket?

If so, can you provide some info about how to make this work?

Thanks!

VERY unlikely.

No, because it WON'T work. It's that simple!
(The ONLY way to use this derailleur is to mount it on the provided very special braze-on.)

So that "very special" braze-on is designed to go on frame when it's built, replacing the "standard" braze-on tab? That's just nuts!
