Nashbar ST Toure

I have this bike and I'm trying to find any information on it. The only thread about it I was able to find was this one, which seems to describe the bike I have fairly closely.

The bike has a dark blue frame with the Nashbar logo in gold along the main tubes. The derailleurs are Suntour Mountech (eehhhh), the seatpost is Sakae Laprade and the cranks are Sakae CR triple, and the brakes are Dia-Compe wide cantilever. It's got a strange attachment for the downtube shifters where they're a single pod attached to a single boss on the downtube facing the rider. 5 cog cluster. Overall it seems pretty similar to the ~1984 Miyata 610 that I had before. Any idea how they would compare?

I read in this catalog scan (pdf) that Nashbar road bikes were made by Maruishi, so is this frame likely to have been made by them as well? Would it be a Maruishi model repainted as Nashbar?
