Need help identify an old bike

I bought this bike from a garage sale about 8 years ago. I recently became interested in knowing its history. Can someone help me identify it? It says "Shogun Hi-Ten 200" on the down tube. 10 speed (2x5), shimano altus parts, dia compe 630 side pull brakes. I removed all the rusty parts and stripped it down to the frame. Here are some pictures. I'm wondering if it's worth getting some parts and building it up for my wife for riding to farmer's market :)

BTW, the S/N on the bottom braket is M3D17395

1983 Shogun 200. An entry level model. Originally, about $200 US, though a nice bicycle for the price.

Worth it if you find a good (and cheap) donor bike. Otherwise, assuming it has a high ten steel frame, that is bottom of the line, and not worth much when you have it completed. But a good deal on a donor bike, and you will have a nice set up! Go for it!
