Vintage Bike Lust

I've been looking around lately for something to commute on. My current bike is a beast and will get heavier with the rear baskets.

I popped into our local used bike shop and took a look around. They have a beautiful gun metal gray Nishiki touring bike (sorry I didn't catch the exact model). Shop clerk mentioned it was going for around $400 "because of what it was". I might go back for a closer look.

I swear we are cursed in this town. Most of what winds up on Craigslist here are the Huffy's and what not that would be great for the occasional ride. Not for what I want out of a bike.

I'm going to check the co-op this week and see if they have had any vintage steel show up.
